    “Since 1940, the family history is the history of Ercolani vintners and wine makers, workshops and ambitions. It’s the history of someone who loves his own land and knows the secrets of it, appreciates the smells, tastes the flavors.“
    The farm “Ercolani Cellars” was founded in 1988 in Montepulciano, in the heart of a gentle Tuscany, where already in the 40s Ercolani great-grandfather loved and cultivated the wine cellar art. Once transmitted to the son the passion for the land and its riches, it will be their grandfather Sergio in the 60s to lay the foundations of today’s activities.
    Opens then the “Door of Bacchus”, the first modern local thought around the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, the Vin Santo, the oil and the sale of sausages, strictly on yellow paper .. Throughout time the company grew, bought new lands, extended the own views and strengthen the workforce, a commitment to authenticity remains constant, authenticity of raw materials, the processes of growing and processing of food and traditional cuisine.
    Today the company is counting on a strong organization. Experienced staff takes care of the
    processing of approximately 150 hectares of land, the cultivations, the truffles, the olive groves, the sheep farming, of the catering and the direct selling.The company has also created 5 different realities in Montepulciano and Pienza: the Subterranean City, the Medici cellars, the Tombesi cellars and the shop in Pienza, in which is engaged in production, processing, sale and tasting of only poliziano territory-related products such as Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Vin Santo DOC, grappas, extra virgin olive oil, pecorino cheeses, meats, jams, honey and fresh truffles.
